The Oklahoma State and Education Employees Group Insurance Board (Insurance Board), in the interest of its HealthChoice Medicare Supplement plans, contracts with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), a division of the federal government. The Insurance Board’s contract with CMS is renewed annually and is not guaranteed beyond the current contract year. The Insurance Board has the right to refuse to renew its contract with CMS, and conversely, CMS may also refuse to renew the contract with the Insurance Board. Termination or non-renewal of the contract may result in the termination of the beneficiary’s enrollment in the Medicare Approved Prescription Drug Plan.
