Beware - Don’t Get Scammed!

HealthChoice continues to get phone calls from members reporting that they have received fraudulent calls from someone insisting that the member needs a new member ID card. The caller is quite relentless, and when the member finally agrees to accept the additional ID card, the caller asks for personal banking information.

Members should know that neither HealthChoice, nor any of our partners such as Fiserv Health Harrington, Medco Health, or GHS Property & Casualty, will ever contact you to request your personal financial information.

For our members who are enrolled in our program to auto-draft premiums from your bank account, please be aware that all communication related to this program is handled through the mail. HealthChoice will never call you to request your banking information.

Never give your personal information to anyone who contacts you by telephone. If you become suspicious of a caller, end the call immediately, and contact the business or organization the caller claimed to represent.

Be smart and always protect your personal and financial information!
